For larger companies, moving is often the opportunity to implement broader changes. We’d be happy to think along with you on this. But even without moving, it might be time for an entirely new office environment. As an end user of an office building, you often have a specific request. After all, it’s about your identity and work processes. As a property owner, you might not yet know which end users will occupy the space. In that case, we look for more general advice while still creating a clear positioning. What is the greatest need here? How are you complementary to what already exists? We think strategically with you, exploring what’s important for your organization and its employees. The process of uncovering these insights and turning them into tailored advice—that’s workplace consultancy.

Workplace consultancy is all about people. To create effective workplace advice for an organization, you first need to listen carefully to that organization. This is a key part of any consultancy project at Ditt. What exactly does your company do, and what do the people in your business do? And how can they be best supported in that? We gather information at both the organizational and building levels. Organizationally, this involves looking at work processes, company identity, and what makes the business unique. We view the building as the framework within which you operate. Based on this input, our consultants develop tailored advice for your organization.

We advise you on which building best suits your needs when you’re searching for a (new) location. If that building is already in place, we then look at how to best integrate your identity and work processes within that space.

We don’t apply a one-size-fits-all approach to the entire company; instead, we focus on the different parts of the organization, offering each a tailored solution. And you can only achieve that by paying a great deal of attention to the input. So that’s exactly what we do.

We are aware that an organization consists of various parts, each requiring its own approach. To develop a tailored solution for each of these components, we dedicate a great deal of attention to the input.

We immerse ourselves in your organization through workshops, interviews, and interactive sessions. These involve not only the management but also the people “on the ground.”

From all this input, we conduct analyses and provide recommendations. We compile a report that the entire company should be able to align with. We call this an ambition document, as it reflects the organization’s goals. Depending on the initial question that started the process, this report might include office design advice, a roadmap, a program of requirements (PoR), sustainability or housing recommendations, or other relevant suggestions.

The depth we aim for in this phase results in better solutions and a more effective follow-up process. The outcome of this consultancy phase serves as the perfect foundation for the design phase.

Workplace consultancy is the ‘proof’ that your company listens to its employees and takes good care of them. The result? More productive employees. By providing them with a better workspace, listening to them more closely, making them feel safer, inspiring them, and enabling better collaboration.
