Studio Alliance is an international alliance of experts in working environments, together they are designing the future of Europe’s offices. Ditt Officemakers is also part of this. Founder Clive Lucking and Marketing Consultant Beatrice Ronchetti talk about their ambitions and the power of simplicity.
Massively changed
Clive: ‘When the idea for Studio Alliance came about, three years back, we had no idea where it would take us. Now, through our five 10 members, at least 100 people are involved. We share our knowledge, clients, experiences and opportunities. I am also very proud that relationships have developed beyond business and have grown into friendships.’
‘It is precisely in simplicity that lies at the heart of our work: we want to make our clients’ lives easier thanks to our cooperation.’
Beatrice: ‘In these three years since its founding, the office world has changed enormously, and the search for the office of the future is far from over. That’s where Studio Alliance wants to play its part. We want to bring together ideas from experts across Europe, and let organisations around the world benefit from them. Ultimately, that is one of our biggest ambitions.’
Keep growing together
Clive: ‘I think any big ambition is made up of smaller goals. If by the end of 2024 all our members renew and we have a few new ones, that would already be successful. If everyone keeps renewing, and therefore wants to stay part of the partnership, we’ll also be doing well in the longer term. That sounds simple, but it is precisely in that simplicity that lies at the heart of our work: making our clients’ lives easier thanks to our cooperation.’ Beatrice: ‘If we keep growing and improving ourselves, without sacrificing that focus on simplicity, I definitely see Studio Alliance making a difference within the European office world within ten years, also in terms of sustainability – we have very clear ideas about that.’ Clive: ‘Yes, there again you see that simplicity. We all know by now that we have to take good care of the planet. That concern is summed up today in the ESG criteria, but it’s simpler than that: ESG simply stands for doing the right thing. That aspiration drives everything we undertake at Studio Alliance.’
