Project Case
For this exciting project, Beiersdorf provided Ditt Officemakers with a mood board and a design guide outlining their preferences for various spaces, including the desired colors and materials for an authentic Beiersdorf office. It quickly became clear that this comprehensive package was just a starting point, and we had the freedom to design a truly unique building. The essential Dutch touch was achieved through the use of beautiful Delft blue tulip wallpaper and a wall adorned with Delft blue tiles featuring Beiersdorf-specific images and quotes. Beiersdorf aimed for a new ‘activity-based’ office concept with a 60% occupancy rate and wanted to halve the physical space from 2000 m². Ditt provided advice on various housing options, leading to the decision to relocate to the Oval Tower in Amsterdam Southeast. This early involvement allowed Ditt to play a key role throughout the project.
Inspiring Workspace
On the 17th floor, a new office has been created that aligns with Beiersdorf’s international ambitions. Here, every employee has the freedom to work according to their own preferences, and to collaborate with others as desired. All modern facilities are located on a single floor, resulting in an inspiring, efficient workspace that fully reflects Beiersdorf’s vision.
Oval Tower
Beiersdorf relocated to the Oval Tower. The naturally oval shape of the space presented a fun challenge and provided the foundation for the design of this project.
Beiersdorf’s Vision
The collaboration between Beiersdorf and Ditt was harmonious. With hybrid working, social meeting spaces, and room for growth, the project is future-proof. Sustainability was key, with the use of certified wood and a BREEAM In-Use office building label. This office reflects Beiersdorf’s identity and vision in an inspiring way.
