The entrance of the office building at Burgemeester Roelenweg 13 in Zwolle was previously dark and uninviting. Aroundtown wanted to make this entrance more visible from the outside, ensuring that visitors feel welcome. The lobby is now designed as a connecting space, where movement and transition are central. To achieve this, a large staircase was installed next to the existing elevators, and a section of the ceiling was removed to create space for a high atrium. On the first floor, there is a reception desk and a lunchroom with a service bar and seating along the window. The atrium provides easy access to several meeting rooms, offering undisturbed privacy.
